Blast from the Past

When Jeanette Lynton began her venture into stamping 30 years ago, she drew by hand all her stamp images. Originally made of rubber and set on wood blocks, a few of these stamp sets are available to you in clear polymer for a limited time only! Enjoy the intricate and cozy line designs in conjunction with our alcohol-based markers for fun accents that will brighten your layouts as they take you back in time.

Blast from the Past

Almost 20 years ago I was introduced to the line of these beautiful woodmounted rubber stamp images. I never looked back after I signed up with D.O.T.S. We have come a long way, baby :)

I hope you will enjoy this look back into yesteryear as much as I do!

Starting November you will have a very unique and limited opportunity as a new consultant to earn a free product from the new spring product line. Contact me to learn about the details!

With Christmas coming up, you can make some wonderful ornaments not just on your cards, but you could make some ornaments for your tree or even gifts. Let your imagination fly! Simply Stitch It

Feeling a little wary of adding stitching to your papercrafting? Did you know it doesn’t require a sewing machine? Our new stitch guide makes stitching simple to do—and the look it gives is simply stunning! See it for yourself in this video.

If you are anything like me - I hate to pull out my sewing machine for a card or layout. This little tool makes stitching on paper so much easier. There was no way, I would have been able to get it straight on paper - with this tool it will be much easier. Have fun!

Cordinate your stamping with cricut

Hey there, here is another great video for you. Right now I am sitting at Starbuck's drinking my hot chocolate, eating a piece of my cake since I don't have internet yet in my new, old house (lol). I will have lots of room again to have workshops. I am so excited about that! Yeah! Base and Shade and stamp on multiple surfaces!

Here are the next two segments of our great series from our stamping tutorials. I love those videos. When I started as a consultant over 18 years ago I learned the base and shade technique, but I used wood mounted stamps. Back then I had to use a stamp guide and hope it would work and not mess up. More than once I ended up with scrap! Acrylic stamps made it so much easier to do both of those techniques! Have fun to play.

Swipe those stamps!

Love this technique! Although, I have been using some form of it before with our woodmounted solid stamps before. Play around with it and see what you can create. As I mentioned before. As you use your stamps you want to play, have fun and see what you might be able to create. Many of your projects will be one of a kind - but that is the fun of it!

Happy stamping.

Hello and thank you for stopping by!

This is my first attempt on a blog - can you tell? I am sure you can. From what I have learned about blogs they are like an online journal and you are getting a peak into my soul ...

At this time I am trying to learn how to post my artwork with watermark and copyright and all that jazz -but I a, learning. My plan is to post my work and along with it I will explain what I used and how I made the project.

As we go along, I will also give you a peak into my life. I will share some pictures of my family, places we have been, places we have visited. So, please come back and visit often. Just know, that I am very new to this blogging thing! So, at this time - any help you can give me is highly appreciated in growing my skills in "blogging".

If you live close to me and you would like to join me in my craft place or one my crops please, check my calendar for any upcoming workshops!
