July workshop

July workshop

If you love that little purse - you will just have to get our Artiste cartridge! It is so easy to make those little purses and other fun things with that cartridge. The cartridge contains 750 images! If you want to make little gifts, this cartridge is for you! Right now we have 3 cartridges - in August we will have 4. One of the ladies at the workshop thought, this little purse was a perfect project at a girlscout meeting!

If the "Celebrate" card looks familiar - well, I copied the design right out of the ideabook! I wanted to show everybody, that you can make what you see in the books! Spring/Summer book, pg. 96.

On the third pocket card I also used the cricut cartridge! It is so easy to make this type of cards, with the cricut. Here is a warning - once you get started - you may never want to stop! Don't tell me, I did not warn you!

Please let me know how I might be able to help you. You can contact me and I will be more than happy to give you some pointers on how to use those cartridges. You can also use some of the many tutorials I have posted on this blog here.

We will have our next class on August 22. If you live close by me, we would love to have you join us! We will be working on birthday cards!

If you miss one, but would love to make them at home or you live too far - its as easy as ordering the kits. Just go to my blog and order the kit!

Creatively Cricut!

I love my cricut! Just a couple of years ago, I remember several friends put on a board they found a great deal on a cricut expression and I went out and bought one - and there it sat, because I had no clue how to use it or what to do with it! It took one of my sons to actually just pick the thing up and start playing with it. He had no trouble creating with it. Leave it up to the techie generation to run with it (ha). Once Close to my Heart came out with their first Cricut cartridge I actually really started to play with the machine (by then it was sitting around for two years!). I finally realized how easy it was to really use it and what you could really create with it. Now I love it! If you have not used one yet - be careful, it can be addictive :).

Have fun!

Don't miss the December online party!

Thank you so much for helping last month in the great cause of helping out all those many people on the East Cost - I am sure it was greatly appreciated!

Once again you have a chance to join my monthly online party and this month we have added all kinds of great savings again! Don't wait too long, before some of your favorite items are gone! There is still time to get some of your Christmas projects done. Once I am more moved in and we are finally cleared from the military I am still planning to get some Christmas ornaments made - yes I am ambitious - ha! But with our Cricut Artiste cartridge, our dimensionals and coordinating stamp set it will be much easier for me.

Let me know if I can help you get some quick gifts together and don't forget our wonderful tutorials!

Hope you are taking advantage of all our great tutorials we are putting out. Close to my Heart is almost taking my work away by not having to show all the cool things you can do with our stamps - almost ... ha! I would love to show you more! So, get in touch with me - I would love to help you get started with your projects. Get those things out of the drawer! Things in the drawer are very expensive. Only when you pull them out and do something with them do they become a bargain!

If you are looking for a quick project - check out one of our Workshop of the Go kits. Everything is in one place. Love those kits!

Need to get quick pages done - consider our Express Layouts in Studio J. Check it out, play around - you don't pay until you press the purchase button. And yes - they count towards a party, hostess rewards. It cannot get better!

Hello and thank you for stopping by!

This is my first attempt on a blog - can you tell? I am sure you can. From what I have learned about blogs they are like an online journal and you are getting a peak into my soul ...

At this time I am trying to learn how to post my artwork with watermark and copyright and all that jazz -but I a, learning. My plan is to post my work and along with it I will explain what I used and how I made the project.

As we go along, I will also give you a peak into my life. I will share some pictures of my family, places we have been, places we have visited. So, please come back and visit often. Just know, that I am very new to this blogging thing! So, at this time - any help you can give me is highly appreciated in growing my skills in "blogging".

If you live close to me and you would like to join me in my craft place or one my crops please, check my calendar for any upcoming workshops!
