 Here are the cards we made for our July card work shop. I had hoped I would be able to post the pictures before the end of the month - but my back gave out on me again. But here they are! I will post all the materials now you will need for all the cards:

On this cards I inked up the embossing folder folder first, then put the canary card stock between the two B plates before putting it through the Cuttlebug. That gave me the color of the hearts. You can get the other color effect, if you turn your cardstock around and sponge it with a dauber.

I sponged the edges of the white piece of cardstock with the glacier pigment ink.

July's News!

Say It's Not So! Convention was a blast and I was amazed to see all the wonderful new toys coming our way! Now I understand why we are retiring so many of the product. You will have a little bit more time to enjoy what we have right now. But you better check my blog to see what will be going away soon. I have a link of a list with all the stamp sets of items that will be retired and all the products that will be retired. The list has actually been updated. The updated list can be found on my website. Also, look for my post that is titled "Say It's Not So! Because - even some of our cricut cartridges will be retired! Right now you can still get all of these fun products on my website – but beware at the end of this month, many will be retiring – so don’t delay, if you want to catch some of those fun flamingos!

Here are the details of the cards:

 

The flamingos were cut with the Thin Cuts and then stamped. It was really quite easy to do! Love the two-tone of the inks. I also like to use the black pigment ink for the sentiment, because it is a very vibrant ink and it does not tend to discolor my stamps as easily. When are done, just make sure you use our ink scrubber and you are good to go!
