A Pastel Christmas
See what I have found on the Close to my Heart Blog - enjoy:
You can find this kit at:
Cut Above Layout Kit
Red and green, silver and gold—we love the traditional holiday color palette. This season, why not have a little fun and switch things up! Venture into the trendy world of pastel colors and try incorporating them in your Christmas cardmaking and scrapbooking projects.
Pastel color schemes are an easy way to give your holiday crafts a feminine, sophisticated look or a cool, vintage feel.
Take a look at how we are using pastels for Christmas projects this year.

This scrapbook page shows you how to mix and match cardstock, paper packets, and Complements to create a completely different color scheme. The pastel color palette gives the project a delicate tone that draws attention to the photos, while the silver glitter die-cuts add some classic holiday bling.
If you like this color trend for your layouts but aren’t too confident you can pull it off without a little bit of help, give our Noelle Cut Above® layout kit a try.

Featuring the dreamy hues of the pastel holiday trend, this kit is the perfect option for easy memory keeping! The kit includes base pages, stickers, die-cuts, Memory Protectors™, and instructions—all you need is adhesive and a journaling pen! (If you are worried about whether or not your photos will match, try printing them in black and white. Not only would black and white photos look great on this layout, but they would also create a vintage finish to your pages.)
Paired with black and white, a pastel color scheme can add a touch of class to holiday crafts, including cards. Adding a Christmas sentiment with sparkles and Silver Glitter Trim keeps things festive.

If you prefer a softer, vintage feel, you can combine pink or blue with silver, like the card above. This card features an embossed sentiment and some simple silver embellishments. We’ve created extra dimension by using our Tree Line Border Thin Cuts and both sides of our two-toned Linen cardstock.

As you get your holiday crafting underway, don’t foget to try this trend out with your gift tags, too!
Maybe holiday reds and greens aren’t your thing, or maybe you’re looking for something new this year. Pastel color schemes can help you create Christmas projects that are subtle and elegant or fresh and classy. Give it a try! Tell us how you’re using this color trend in your projects in the comments.

November Card Buffet
I will have a session at 10 am and one at 7 pm.
Focus on Birthday and holiday sentiment cards, I might have a Thank You sentiment in there as well! I will have:
8-10 card or project designs. Make as many cards as you would like from any or all of the designs for $2 each. I will have cards designed, you can make them whatever sentiment you would like or need to replenish your card stash. The cards are pre-cut, you just put the cards together as per the instructions. Don't worry, I will help if you are not sure about any techniques.
If you would like to bring your unfinished scrapbook projects and work on them, you are welcome as well. I will be more than happy to give assistance to you.
This month I will have all new products for you to enjoy and I want to make room with some of my retired items and they are priced to move!
Special: Place a $30 order and get 3 cards for FREE!
Anyone who completes 10 cards will get a special price!
Bonus: Bring a friend that is new to stamping and get a prize! If you are a new stamper to me, you will also get a prize!
Please RSVP, so I can ensure to have enough supplies on hand for you.
Please contact me at scrappingbee42@gmail.com for more info. Thanks
Physical Cricut Cartridges to Retire
Provo
Craft has recently made the decision to discontinue production of
physical Cricut® cartridges. CTMH has attempted to secure enough
inventory of the You Are Here collection to last us through the duration of our Annual Inspirations 2017–2018 idea book, but effective immediately, all Cricut® Collections that include a physical cartridge are available while supplies last.
CTMH
has made every effort to preserve this product offering for as long as
possible. CTMH has been aware that eventually physical cartridges would
be phased out in favor of the digital business model, and have been taking steps to make the transition easier. CTMH has introduced digital-only
collections as a way to encourage our customer base to make the switch;
CTMH has also introduced a Cricut® Explore Air 2 hostess bundle as an
incentive for Consultants and customers alike to upgrade their Cricut®
machines. Recently, we even started to include image numbers in our
artwork recipes to make it easier to locate images in Design Space.
Tutorial
videos are in the works that will help our customers learn more about
how to use Design Space and the newer Cricut® machines. We all
understand it can be challenging to learn a new system, but also
recognize the benefits that come from using the newer machines,
including greater control over the creative process and increased
flexibility in working Cricut® shapes into your artwork. Though we are
sorry to see our physical cartridges go, we are excited about the
possibilities available with our digital
collections.
I remember 8-tracks going and cassettes being introduced ~
Then cassettes leave and the CD is the latest greatest...Now Pandora
Etc. SO, as we embrace the new Digital Cartridges, its a whole new world!!!! I am just learning AND Trust Me I am loving it!!!! I know, you may have concerns about not being able to be online all the time. You now are able to work offline with your designs as well. That is a huge improvement! There are a lot of fun things you can create - let me show you how!
Please contact me to order your CTMH Cricut Cartridges NOW while stock is available: llanghammer.ctmh.com cricut-collections.asp

Hello and thank you for stopping by!
This is my first attempt on a blog - can you tell? I am sure you can. From what I have learned about blogs they are like an online journal and you are getting a peak into my soul ...
At this time I am trying to learn how to post my artwork with watermark and copyright and all that jazz -but I a, learning. My plan is to post my work and along with it I will explain what I used and how I made the project.
As we go along, I will also give you a peak into my life. I will share some pictures of my family, places we have been, places we have visited. So, please come back and visit often. Just know, that I am very new to this blogging thing! So, at this time - any help you can give me is highly appreciated in growing my skills in "blogging".
If you live close to me and you would like to join me in my craft place or one my crops please, check my calendar for any upcoming workshops!
