My new crafting space!

My new crafting space!

Recently we decided to update our upstairs of our home - that included my crafting space. I wanted to share what my studio looks like now. When I hold smaller workshops and card buffets - you get to share that space with me. Enjoy!

Much of the artwork serves to inspire me or are reminders of some of the events I may have attended. The green bug eyes you may see peeking out, remind of the last Cub Scout Day Camp I was leading as the Program Director - fun times!
The Bee on the shelve - well, my handle is the "Scrappingbee", enough said - ha!
Throughout the room you can see some of our organizational tools, our Workspace Wonder, our other organizers on the shelves. I love to be organized. Our papers and inks all have their place, so I know where I need to go.
If you should need a hand on getting organized, please let me know. Sometimes it does not need a major reno to get organized, but just a need to know what you want to do with a space.

Have fun crafting!

Say It's Not so!

Yes, its Retirement Time Again!

There are too many items in our Going Soon area for me to give you all the images here. By the way, if you don't hurry some of those items will gone sooner than you will like. I noticed some of the items that were there yesterday are already gone!

So, don't delay - check it out and get your favorite item while you can. Yes, we are making room for the new, but its fun to make sure you get your favorite item.

Besides some of these samples, we have added stamp sets to the list as well. So, don't delay!

Here is just a little taste:

Retiring Items and While Supplies Last
As we all wait for the new book in September to come live, we have lots of items to choose from at great prices! You don't want to miss any of your favorite items in the "Retiring Items"
list or the "While Supplies" last list.
Here is the difference between the two, the latter has items, that have been retired and will not be replenished. Most of the items have been reduced in price, some of them quite deeply. When the items are gone - they are gone! It also pays to keep checking this list, since the company keeps adding on a regular basis to this list.
The Retiring List has items that can be there until August 30, however - it is also while supplies last on some items. We can get more supplies on some items. As we just reprinted some of our papers, but we cannot guarantee that all the items will be there through the end of the book. As you can see some of the supplies have already sold out. So, if you have some favorites - get them now!

Since we are talking retiring - here are the colors that will be retiring:

This is it for this month - please make sure you keep checking my blog and my facebook for updates! If you are not on facebook, let me know I would love to stay in touch with you with other means. We are about to launch the new idea book and we have always newsflashes I would love to bring your way - I would hate for you to miss something.

I would like to serve you - please let me know how I can do that the best way.

Oh - one more thing! At convention, we were informed how much we have supported Operation Smile in the passed 10 years! Can believe, it has been that long? We now have upped how much of the Operation Smile stamp set will go to that charity and we offer a T-Shirt with the proceeds going to that charity. If you would like to help share a smile - you may want to purchase a T-shirt!
Thank you!

Have a great day and I will talk to you soon.
Happily stamping,

Margit McCabe

$810 for FREE - It's True!

This special might sound too good to be true...but it's not.  It's "too good", but it's also TRUE!

I usually don't announce the Close To My Heart specials until the day they begin. The one I am announcing today is an exception. This one is too good not to tell you about NOW so that you can start preparing.  You'll need $99 start with and you can
get over $810 in products and money back with this deal (including a refund of your $99 initial cost).   Hold on to your hats!  Keep reading for details...

Thinking about joining Close To My Heart? March is the month to do it!  Wait until March 1, and then click here to take advantage of the deal below.

1.   During the month of March, new Consultants who enroll will receive a FREE shoulder tote ($26.95 value) in their New Consultant Kit. The kit is only $99 and includes about $370 in products and supplies. When you add the shoulder tote, you are getting over $396 in products and supplies for your $99!

2.  Additionally, new Consultants who remit $300 worth of commissionable sales in their first 40 days after their New Consultant Kit ships will receive the rolling tote ($149.95 value) for FREE! You minimum commission would be $66 on your sales or purchases as well!  When you add all of that together, that gives you over $612 in products, supplies and commissions for your $99 kit cost.

Description of rolling tote:  Durable rolling bag designed to hold organizers in various sizes. Top zips all the way down for easy loading. Front pocket sized to fit 12" × 12" paper, plus two additional side pockets to store more! Finished size 25½" × 16" ×17½". Some assembly required.  As you can see in the photo above, they perfectly fit the Close To My Heart small, medium and large organizers.

Here is how you put the tote together:

 3.  As if that weren't enough, if you remit $1200 worth of commissionable sales in your first 90 days, CTMH will also refund your $99 kit cost!  Add to that the minimum of $264 you will earn in commissions on that and you are getting over $810 in products, supplies and commissions for FREE!

I've created a chart to help you understand a bit better:

I know I already posted about it once - but I did not have the chart yet - this just makes a bit clearer for you. I also did not want you to miss this chance. These totes and organizers can be used for so much more than just scrapbooking and card making. Even if you are in the business of Direct Sales. Just think about what you can "tote" around! All that jewelry, makeup and so many other items could go into that stylish tote and organizers. Let me show you how easy it would be to get you organized and make quick and easy "Thank you" cards for you customers and hostesses!

New CTMH Rolling Tote

Just thought I would share my video I just made of the new rolling tote from Close to my Heart. I love the versatility of the tote. You can put so many different items in the case. When you don't need you can easily take it apart and fold it up and stow it away - love it!

Organization

Hello and thank you for stopping by!

This is my first attempt on a blog - can you tell? I am sure you can. From what I have learned about blogs they are like an online journal and you are getting a peak into my soul ...

At this time I am trying to learn how to post my artwork with watermark and copyright and all that jazz -but I am, learning. My plan is to post my work and along with it I will explain what I used and how I made the project.

As we go along, I will also give you a peak into my life. I will share some pictures of my family, places we have been, places we have visited. So, please come back and visit often. Just know, that I am very new to this blogging thing! So, at this time - any help you can give me is highly appreciated in growing my skills in "blogging".

If you live close to me and you would like to join me in my craft place or one my crops please, check my calendar for any upcoming workshops!

A scrapbooker's quilting bee!
