10 Reasons Why Close To My Heart Consultants Live the Dream

10 Reasons Why Close To My Heart Consultants Live the Dream

by Close To My Heart

Here is a blog post from Close to my Heart - I could not have said it any better! Every week, Close to my Heart makes all kinds of great addition to their blog, but I thought I would have to share this one. Hope you will enjoy it and share with :). Check out the blog at Close to my Heart and see some of the great artwork that has been shared in the past!
Why should you join the Close To My Heart Consultant family? We’ll give you ten good reasons:
1. You work with beautiful products that practically sell themselves.
With unique papers, Cricut® cartridges, and exclusive stamps, our products will keep your memory keeping on-trend and downright fun. To make matters even sweeter, when you’re a Consultant you get these products at a great discount—and who doesn’t love a discount on beautiful products? The toughest part of your job will be trying to resist purchasing the whole idea book in one order!
2. You make friends that will last a lifetime.
No doubt about it, the people you meet as a Close To My Heart Consultant will change your life. Ask any Consultant—the trust, love, and unity you feel when you’re a Consultant is reason enough to join today. Your new community of friends, business partners, and mentors will be an incredible support to you throughout your journey. Close To My Heart will become your second family, and when you’ve got family, you’ve got everything you need.
3. Your job is literally a work of art.
With a job where you work with art every day, you’ll be living the dream! You’ll have a great outlet for sharing your artwork, your business supplies will include paper and stamps, and you’ll teach what you’re passionate about. This isn’t your everyday business; you make money by doing what you love!

And your Team members (and even other Consultants you haven’t met yet) will also always be there to answer your questions, calm your concerns, or simply lend a listening ear.
5. You'll become the business guru you always knew you could be.
You’ll gain some serious muscle as you work on building your business—business muscle, that is. A lot of your experience will come through fun travel and trainings with people you love to be around. You’ll have plenty of opportunities for “work” that will usually feel a lot more like play!
6. You can rest easy knowing your business is built on a solid foundation.
Not only will you find stability in taking control of your own career, but you can rest easy knowing Close To My Heart has unmatched longevity and stability. Our Founder & CEO, Jeanette Lynton, has been in the papercrafting business for over 30 years—that’s a lot of business savvy! Even cooler: Close To My Heart functions free of debt.
7. We throw pretty amazing parties and you’re always invited.
We do ‘em big, we do ‘em small, but all of them are fantastic! From annual Conventions to regional events across the globe, there is always something happening with Close To My Heart. Back from convention and here are some of my team members - actually Jo and Linda have been with me for eight and six years!

I have been with Close to my Heart for almost 20 years now and I must say, this has been one of the best conventions! It was great! We had a good time, great friendship and we learned a lot. It helped, that we received the best Idea Book yet!

Here are some of the new things coming your way:
  • Alcoholic Markers
  • Chalk Marker
  • New Organizers - yeah, you will love them!
  • Lots of new bling!
  • Wonderful great new Workshops, including Home Decor workshops and card workshops
  • Did I mention our great new Cricut Cartridge? You have to see it and all the great things it can do. I am working on a little video to show it to you! I brought it home from convention since I got one for free!
  • New pigment ink stacks
  • Studio J has discontinued memberships, but added great new express layouts - all layouts are only $6.95 and you get your JPEGS for free! You can do fast layouts.
  • Bulk CS will be available again - but make sure, you get the CS that will be retired.
  • A great new way to sign up as a consultant - only $49, our new Essential consultant kit. Available now!
Online gatherings - you don't have to clean your house for it ... :) Contact me and I will set it up for you. And yes, Studio J will count towards it, you can even earn Studio J layouts for hostess awards!

Whew, that is it, in very short version for some of the new items! But be sure to keep checking back, because I will show you in more detail how to use some of our new product. It was a lot of fun to see how versatile and easy it is to them. Our new cartridge can make mini albums. All you really have to do is set, cut, glue and put pictures in and oh, add bling - how much easier do you want it?

Want more pics?

Oh yeah, I did say, we had some entertainment! While we had dinner, they sang for us! The Texas Tenors were great outstanding.

One other thing I wanted to mention about this years' convention, six years ago CTMH started a tradition to award a very prestigious award to one consultant - the Spirit of Close to my Heart. Our Team Leader, Karen Pederson was awarded this great award this year. Yeah - she really deserves it. We are part of an awesome team - the Pacemakers. So, if you join my team - you will be part of a great family and legacy :)

Its time again for me to go to another convention - this time we are going to Dallas! Yes, we have been there before. It was fun then and it will be fun again. We will be at the Hilton Anatole this time. Just remember, if you want to join a bunch of gals having about 4 days of "girls night out" - you want to join CTMH. Every year, my husband know - convention time is mine! I have been with Close to my Heart for over 18 years and every summer I get my own little vacation, with stamping, creating and having fun with my friends. Every time I go home with new products, a new book and head full of great new ideas that I get to share with you when I get home. Can you understand I am always fired up when you see me again?

Once I get home I will have the new book available! If you want to find out out some of the chatter, you may want to try and follow the chatter on #CTMHtx. Easy - easy as pie! Well, lots to pack and get ready for yet - have a good one.

By the way - if you want to check out some of my Studio J layouts - go to my facebook page and check my 5 latest lay outs. Once I get back from convention I will post them as well.

Moving On

Its been a long time since I too the time to post to my blog - my life has been too busy! My husband has been deployed, in between he has been home for a few months getting patched up and he was sent back out to Iraq - yes, they do that and yes, we have men, who do that!

As he came back, I took him to California to my convention and we spent some time together just having fun - yeah! Of course, they he had to move on yet again to Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. And so must I. I will miss Kentucky. At first, I did not want to come here, I must admit. I did not want to leave my mountains in Utah. Hey, who does not want to wake up in the morning and see those beautiful mountains in your bedroom windows ... but I came to love the land and the people.

The last 9 years here have been full, almost too full. Many of you can relate in light of our last anniversary on the 11th, but life goes on and our choices determine where we go and what we do with our life. So, I am sure I will make more good friends and will meet more good people in Missouri. So, you better watch out there ... :).

Thank goodness for the internet, I can stay in touch! So, please, keep twittering, facebooking, emailing or whatever you may do - oh, yes, you may even still use the phone! lol. I will be moving at the very first of October - just in time to do one more crop!

If you want to join me, contact:  Kristi  at  rbaehner@fuse.net  or Sharon  at apples1996@aol.com they will get you a registration form.  You may also consider stopping by at my next Open Crop on the 23rd of this month or see at my next last Quarter Fest on the 27th.

Take care for now!

I will post artwork again soon - I really have done some things - just no time to post! Really :)

Hello and thank you for stopping by!

This is my first attempt on a blog - can you tell? I am sure you can. From what I have learned about blogs they are like an online journal and you are getting a peak into my soul ...

At this time I am trying to learn how to post my artwork with watermark and copyright and all that jazz -but I a, learning. My plan is to post my work and along with it I will explain what I used and how I made the project.

As we go along, I will also give you a peak into my life. I will share some pictures of my family, places we have been, places we have visited. So, please come back and visit often. Just know, that I am very new to this blogging thing! So, at this time - any help you can give me is highly appreciated in growing my skills in "blogging".

If you live close to me and you would like to join me in my craft place or one my crops please, check my calendar for any upcoming workshops!
