Moving On

Its been a long time since I too the time to post to my blog - my life has been too busy! My husband has been deployed, in between he has been home for a few months getting patched up and he was sent back out to Iraq - yes, they do that and yes, we have men, who do that!

As he came back, I took him to California to my convention and we spent some time together just having fun - yeah! Of course, they he had to move on yet again to Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. And so must I. I will miss Kentucky. At first, I did not want to come here, I must admit. I did not want to leave my mountains in Utah. Hey, who does not want to wake up in the morning and see those beautiful mountains in your bedroom windows ... but I came to love the land and the people.

The last 9 years here have been full, almost too full. Many of you can relate in light of our last anniversary on the 11th, but life goes on and our choices determine where we go and what we do with our life. So, I am sure I will make more good friends and will meet more good people in Missouri. So, you better watch out there ... :).

Thank goodness for the internet, I can stay in touch! So, please, keep twittering, facebooking, emailing or whatever you may do - oh, yes, you may even still use the phone! lol. I will be moving at the very first of October - just in time to do one more crop!

If you want to join me, contact:  Kristi  at  rbaehner@fuse.net  or Sharon  at apples1996@aol.com they will get you a registration form.  You may also consider stopping by at my next Open Crop on the 23rd of this month or see at my next last Quarter Fest on the 27th.

Take care for now!

I will post artwork again soon - I really have done some things - just no time to post! Really :)

I can't tell you how much I miss Utah and it's mountains!! I only lived their for 3 years and that was nowhere near long enough!!

I thought I might see you after convention but everyone is so busy! Hope your move goes smoothly.

from the neighbor you almost never met! Betsy

Hello and thank you for stopping by!

This is my first attempt on a blog - can you tell? I am sure you can. From what I have learned about blogs they are like an online journal and you are getting a peak into my soul ...

At this time I am trying to learn how to post my artwork with watermark and copyright and all that jazz -but I a, learning. My plan is to post my work and along with it I will explain what I used and how I made the project.

As we go along, I will also give you a peak into my life. I will share some pictures of my family, places we have been, places we have visited. So, please come back and visit often. Just know, that I am very new to this blogging thing! So, at this time - any help you can give me is highly appreciated in growing my skills in "blogging".

If you live close to me and you would like to join me in my craft place or one my crops please, check my calendar for any upcoming workshops!
